How teaching practice changed my idea of how i see myself as a teacher

Before I had the opportunity to go to a school for a month this year, I still had a little bit of doubt in this whole becoming a teacher thing. While I was at the school for a month and started to teach classes and coach my own rugby team at the school, I started to realise that I could do this for the rest of my life. The one thing that was amazing for me while I was doing my teaching practice is how you connect and get to know some of the students in your class.

Many of the students doesn't have it easy in life and you can see they want to learn to get somewhere in life. Immediately you start caring for those children on another level and you do everything in your power to motivate, inspire and give them the best education that you possibly can. I felt confident and positive about the career choice that I have made after the teaching practice month and I look forward to the day I get my degree and get the chance to teach at a school.
